LOCALBTC
SEPA vs SEPA Instant: choosing your transfer
Standard SEPA
Standard SEPA transfers follow the bank’s business-day processing and cut-off times. A transfer submitted late or on a non-business day may arrive later than the LocalBTC payment window. Verify the arrival estimate before committing.
SEPA Instant
Instant SEPA aims to make euro funds available within seconds, including outside normal business hours. Both sides must be reachable for the intended transfer; banks can impose limits or maintenance periods. Check the actual option shown by your bank.
Choose for the contract you have
The key question is when the seller will receive the exact euro amount, not when you pressed “send”. Do not select a slower route assuming that a payment report extends the deadline. Ask in the contract chat if timing is uncertain.
Cost and Bitcoin delivery
Bank charges and the LocalBTC markup are different costs. Review both and compare the net BTC quoted. Neither transfer type provides cryptocurrency escrow or reverses a Bitcoin transaction sent to the wrong address.
