LOCALBTC

What does no KYC mean?

NO KYC describes the current LocalBTC flow: no identity document upload or automated identity verification is requested. An email address is mandatory for contract updates, and a bank transfer is required.

BTC are sent directly to the receiving address you provide. LocalBTC does not provide a hosted buyer wallet. The direct purchase is manually managed and has no escrow; the seller remains responsible for delivering BTC after payment.

No KYC is not a promise of anonymity, a legal exemption or an absence of records. Banks, wallet providers and payment services may have their own verification requirements. Bitcoin transfers are recorded on a public blockchain.
